Daniil Naraev
Daniil Naraev is a tattoo artist and fine artist with more than 12 years of experience. He grew up in Russia, where he studied art and first explored graffiti and airbrush, before moving to the United States at age 18.
Since then, Daniil has shown his art in exhibitions and earned tattoo awards that recognize his strong skills and creative style. He is known for his experimental approach and his use of dotwork and stippling, creating tattoos that mix precision with storytelling.
Now based in Austin, Texas, Daniil focuses on tattooing, making fine art, and teaching new artists. His work honors traditional techniques while also showing his own unique style.
At the Eden Winter Symposium, Daniil will present “Shading with Round Liners.” In this seminar, he will show how lessons from academic drawing can be used in tattooing. He will cover design, shading, edges, color saturation, and form, while also doing a live demo on fake skin to share his process step by step.
