Bouguereau Leg Sleeve

This masterpiece full leg sleeve is a replication of a painting by the famous French artist, William-Adolphe Bouguereau. Deanna is the first tattoo artist to attempt a project like this on such a large scale. Always adapting masterworks to better fit the skin, Deanna arranges the composition to beautifully rise up the leg with the hues of the background turning from green, to blue, to the soft orange of the sky. The meticulous nature of rendering so many figures, with complex skin tones and small detail, is executed beautifully by Deanna. This piece fully covers the entire leg, and is framed by golden filigree, freehanded by Deanna to fit the body. The frame is the only fresh portion of the tattoo in this photo; everything else is healed. This is truly one of the most masterful tattoos ever created. By Deanna James.
