Filigree and Thorn

An extension of a back piece the client already had, carried down over the lower back and out across both hips. She asked for something feminine and soft and gave Jess full creative liberty, so the new work runs to filigree, thorned scrollwork and wild florals mirrored either side of the spine. The moth and the gothic architecture at the top are the earlier work this was built to meet. The entire back was done in four sessions and completed within the span of 1 year. By Jess Reef.
