Golden Muse

Luiza designed this leg piece around a portrait of a woman in a beaded headdress, with a golden wing sweeping up the outside of the thigh behind her. Below the portrait, Art Nouveau curves carry a cluster of daffodils down past the knee, which lets the piece run the full length of the leg and follow its natural line. Luiza kept the palette in warm golds, ambers and rust tones from top to bottom. Done in 3 sessions at the Austin Tattoo Invitational, where Luiza won second place in the Large Color category.
