Iris Nouveau

Luiza built this Art Nouveau frame on the outer upper arm around a purple iris, with two red irises below and a monarch butterfly resting on its edge. The purple and blue in the irises were chosen for the collector's daughter who passed. Luiza ran the frame from shoulder to elbow so it meets the collector's existing forearm tattoo, and blended the blue at the bottom into it so the whole arm reads as one piece. The collector traveled from Clovis, New Mexico for it. Two sessions. By Luiza Fortes.
