La Catrina

Sam designed this Día de los Muertos half sleeve as a coverup on the outer upper arm, with La Catrina at the center crowned in marigolds and roses. He set the sugar skulls, pan de muerto and a lit candle at the base like an ofrenda, and used deep shadow around the whole scene to give it depth and carry the coverup. By Sam McAleese.
