Lady Jane Grey

This piece recreates Paul Delaroche's The Execution of Lady Jane Grey, a painting that has stayed with Nadia's collector since she first saw it at 15. Nadia set Jane blindfolded and reaching forward inside a soft grey oval, and caught the light on the satin of her gown to keep the gentle feel of the original. The collector traveled from Salt Lake City to add Lady Jane to a collection of tragic women that already includes Ophelia and Anne Boleyn. One session, finished in September 2026. By Nadia Most.
