Little Hearts

Ramon's collector traveled in from outside Austin for this portrait of the collector's child, placed on the outer upper arm. Ramon centered everything on the face and the soft, loose curls, then carried the detail down into the tiny hearts printed on the collared shirt. He let the shirt soften out into the skin so the portrait sits naturally on the shoulder and follows the curve of the arm. Done in one session. By Ramon Rodrigo.
