Marble and Corinthian

Tolga stacked the column capital above the bust so the piece reads from the elbow down, the way the arm is actually seen. He kept the marble soft and let the architecture stay sharp, and that difference is what holds the two apart. The small rosette at the wrist closes the composition. By Tolga Temirlenk.
