Marcus Aurelius Sleeve

Tolga built this sleeve as one continuous composition rather than a set of separate panels. He set the cherub inside a fine-line circle at the top of the forearm, ran classical statue faces and script through the middle, and anchored it with a single realistic eye at the wrist. The geometry behind the figures is what carries your eye down the arm, and it's the reason the sleeve reads as one piece. By Tolga Temirlenk.
