Ocean Goddess

Work in progress. Strawberry Jade is building this sleeve around an ocean goddess, with a jeweled headdress, feathers and beaded strands to honor the collector's Native American heritage. Jade has the goddess's face sit high on the outer upper arm so the reef and ocean below can carry her down toward the wrist as the sleeve grows. The collector asked for bright, neon color, and Jade worked teal into the shadows of her face to start building toward it. Four sessions in at the time of this photo. By Strawberry Jade.
