Putting Down the Roses

This collector loved Sleep Token, specifically the lyric "putting down the roses, picking up the sword," so Taylor gives this collector both in this black and grey realism piece with a blade running vertically down the arm and the roses opening around it. The largest rose sits at the shoulder and a second one falls below it, and the sword passes behind the top bloom and in front of the lower one, which is a small thing that makes the arm read as having depth instead of layers. Further down the forearm a draped statue looks up out of the shading. It's black and grey throughout, and the two straight black bars behind the roses are the only geometry in the piece.
