White Horse

Renan built this back piece around a pale horse whose head turns down across the shoulder blades, with its forelegs reaching over the lower back. He kept the horse in soft greys against solid black so it holds its shape, then added deep red blooms on one shoulder and across the hip to balance the composition and follow the curve of the body.
