Dog and Cat Portrait

This tattoo, done over two back-to-back days on a client traveling from out of state, showcases dog and cat portraits nestled among lush roses and greenery. The application is more true to realism than Monica's typical surrealist designs. Creating a design with two subject matters of similar importance poses artistic challenges; the artist must navigate the rule of thirds to create a dynamic and flowing composition.
