Elspeth from The Shepard King

This design is inspired by The Shepard King Duology, representing the protagonist. Cass's client provided context on the book, allowing Cass to design and create a scene with dark, witchy, fantastical vibes. The tattoo itself is striking, with a blood-red dress and rose standing out against a muted forest. Cass renders painterly details in the fabric of the dress, and cleverly leaves the background out of focus so as not to take away from the main character. This piece was done in two full day sessions approximately a month apart. By Cass Fuller.
