Cass received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a minor in art history. With four years of teaching art at the college, high school, and primary school levels, she brings both technical expertise and the ability to guide and inspire others through every creative step. In 2022, Cass shifted her career to pursue a tattoo apprenticeship at Eden, where she was taught and mentored by Deanna.
In 2026, Cass expanded her educational career into tattooing. In April, she hosted her very own 2-day seminar at Eden, where she taught artists her painterly techniques in rendering roses. She was also invited to teach a workshop at Sessions, a large educational conference for tattoo artists. As a lifelong student herself, Cass is always learning, and continues to expand her knowledge each time she teaches.
Cass's tattoos feature vibrant hues, bold colors, intentional palettes, and soft shading representative of painterly realism, giving her work a stunning, dynamic impact. She applies these techniques to florals, fine art renditions, landscapes, insects, and more. A unified theme through Cass's compositions is her somewhat maximalist approach, including details of greenery and ornaments to her designs. Though detailed, Cass always ensures that these additional elements complement the main subject matter of her pieces, rather than distract from them. She takes inspiration from creating in other mediums of art, as well as physical influences such as books, her garden, and the world around her. Cass's designs frequently feature reference photos of flowers she has taken personally.
While Cass stays true to herself as an artist, she has a deep understanding of the personal nature of tattoos, and the one-of-a-kind relationship between client and artist in the medium of tattooing. Cass is deeply devoted and reverent to her current, past, and future clients. Through unparalleled customer service, Cass has gained an almost fanatical clientele in just 4 years of tattooing, with some clients waiting months or years to get on her books, often traveling from other states and sitting for many full-day sessions.
