Emerald Seahorse

Renan's collector had been coming back to him for years before sitting for this seahorse on the upper arm. He built the scales in green, gold and orange so the body reads clearly against the dark water, and set it in white-capped waves that curl around the arm to frame the shoulder. By Renan Batista.
