Floral Half Sleeve

This stunning floral half sleeve was done over two back to back days on Luiza's client, Deborah, who flew in from Georgia. The design is meant to represent her children, with each flower having a meaning connected with an adjective she's used to describe each of them for years. The design itself and the execution are breathtaking, and a wonderful example of Luiza's versatility. While she enjoys bold designs, she creates the flowers with a beautiful, soft, painterly realism. Keeping her own touch, she includes the green, vine-like swirls in a style reminiscent of art-deco, with beautiful blends of various green values. By Luiza Fortes.
