Vlad built this Slipknot leg sleeve around Corey Taylor, mask on and mic in hand, with the goat from the Iowa album drawn as an old rubber-hose cartoon just below the knee. Vlad renders Corey in soft opaque grey and saves the gold for his hair and the right side of the mask, so the warmest part of the piece sits in the middle of the shin where the eye lands first. He learned the gold technique in a masterclass with his friend Besarion, and the two have done gold collaborations together before. A small cartoon figure in a Slipknot mask finishes the design at the ankle, and the sleeve continues up the thigh. By Vlad Shuvalov.
