Garden Bundle

The client traveled in from Oklahoma and asked for a loose bundle of flowers with no background and no frame at all: a carnation, a rose, a peony, and she left the arrangement entirely to Nadia. She had booked it as mostly black and grey with small pops of color in the berries. It grew into full color on the day. What holds a piece together once you take the frame away is the way the stems fall, and that is the real work here. The heavy pink peony anchors the top left, the cream rose lifts the center, and the berry sprigs run out to either side so the whole bundle sits on the thigh as though it were set down there.
