Hawk Eagle in Lilies
Taylor's collector asked for a crested hawk eagle and left the rest of the design open to her. She set the eagle high on the shoulder with its crest raised and beak open, and brought lilies up from above the elbow to carry the eye down the arm and give the piece the best flow for the body. Taylor built the background in deep black so the design keeps its contrast on the collector's skin for years, and rendered the feathers and petals in her signature peppery black and grey.
