This is the other side of the same forearm, and the city sign the collector asked for anchors it. Monica renders the sign as a real roadside marker with its seal intact, then sets palms behind it and hibiscus below, so the sign sits in a place instead of floating on the arm. She runs everything in black and grey with a warm sepia wash, which keeps the lettering readable from a distance. The palms are angled to follow the taper of the forearm. Two sessions so far.
