Pale Blue Dot

Jade's collector asked for a tribute to Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot, inspired by his line from Contact, "For small creatures such as we the vastness is bearable only through love." Jade answered with a serene blue face turned up toward a glowing nebula, and framed the Voyager probe, the spacecraft that photographed Earth as a single pixel, in a hexagonal window above. Jade carried the scene down the arm in hexagonal panels and an asteroid field, leaving room for the full sleeve the collector is planning. Three sessions. By Strawberry Jade.
