Sweet Face

Nadia's collector wanted a close-up portrait of a beloved cat's sweet face, framed by the flowers the collector loves most. Nadia rendered the cat in soft black and grey with green-hazel eyes and set the portrait inside a thin gold rectangle, letting the whiskers and fur slip past the frame. Peonies, orange ranunculus, lavender spray roses and mums gather at the lower corner to anchor the portrait and bring in the color. One session, completed in July 2026 and shown here healed.
