This back piece belongs to one of Renan's longest-standing collectors, who first sat with him for a small tattoo of her dog. Renan placed the woman's face high between the shoulder blades under a beaded arch, and ran her red robe down the spine so the squirrel in her hand sits right at the waist. Deep red flowers fill out the hips to finish the shape of the body, and the whole piece is fully healed here. By Renan Batista.
