Coral Peony

Monica's collector left the flower choice to her and asked only that orange come through. Monica answers with peonies worked from coral into deep red, and sets a darker iris above them to weight the top of the group. She places the cluster on the front of the thigh just above the knee, sized so it reads whole when the collector is standing. The petals carry warm orange at their centers and cool toward red at the edges. This is the first session, with more planned. By Monica Snyder.
