Pomegranate and Rose

Work in progress. Monica builds this one around a single large orange rose on the thigh, with a split pomegranate tucked beneath it and an orchid bud opening above. She renders the blooms and the fruit in full color and drops the leaves into black and grey, so the color sits forward and the foliage reads as depth behind it. The group is placed to curve with the front of the thigh as the collector stands. One session down, with more planned to grow the piece outward. By Monica Snyder.
